Chambers

A chamber’s mission is to foster and enhance the economic interests and quality of life of the business community it serves. It is an organization made up of businesses, whose goal is to further their interests and to jointly advocate on behalf of the business community.

Most chambers setup committees to target specific areas.  Membership helps to develop strong local networks, which can result in business-to-business exchange. In some cases, chambers work with governments, such as the Governor, Mayor, city council and local representatives to develop pro-business and employment initiatives.
